How it all started

Linden is Enough was co-founded in 2014 in Edinburgh, Scotland, by Slovak Daniel Caltik and Brazilian Mariana Leite. Dani, finishing his studies in Business Management with Entrepreneurship, was eager to start his own business and make a meaningful impact. Mari, just beginning her degree in Psychology & Business, was looking for a creative outlet beyond her studies.

While traveling, they found themselves drawn to Morocco, a place rich in history, artistry, and craftsmanship. In Marrakech, they discovered the tradition of Moroccan leathercraft—a skill passed down through generations. Inspired by the expertise and heritage they encountered, their passion for leather and craftsmanship grew, leading to the creation of Linden is Enough.

Craftsmanship

Linden is Enough was born from a journey. While traveling, we discovered Morocco’s deep-rooted tradition of leathercraft, a heritage of skill and artistry that immediately captured our attention. Like Yves Saint Laurent, Iris Apfel, and Jimi Hendrix—who all found creative stimulation in Morocco—we were drawn to its richness and craftsmanship, which became the foundation of our brand. Morocco has always been a place of mastery when it comes to leather, and we are honored to work alongside skilled artisans who bring their deep knowledge and technique to every piece we create.

Each Linden is Enough bag is made in-house in our Marrakech workshop, where skilled artisans meticulously handcraft every piece using time-honored techniques. Our production process emphasizes quality, sustainability, and authenticity, ensuring that every stitch and detail reflects the artistry passed down through generations.

While our production takes place in Morocco, our brand was founded in Edinburgh, Scotland, where our business operations and distribution center remain. We understand that transparency is key, and we want our customers to know exactly where their bags are made and where they ship from. Our connection to both locations reflects the duality of our identity: rooted in tradition yet shaped by global influences.

We do not follow fleeting trends—we create for people, for the lives they lead, and the stories they carry. Our craftsmanship is a bridge between past and present, honoring the legacy of Moroccan leather artisans while shaping a future of durable, timeless, and meaningful design.
